SARA — Surveying and Asbestos Reporting Application — is a secure, purpose-built working system developed by ACE around how asbestos surveying is actually carried out.
When an off-the-shelf tool does not fit specialist work, the answer is not to force the work into the wrong system. ACE developed SARA around the job itself.
WHY WE BUILT IT
Built around the work, not the other way round.
Asbestos surveying brings together property details, room access, material records, photographs, laboratory information, decisions and reporting. SARA keeps that asbestos information together instead of splitting it across unrelated tools.
The project to create SARA reflects the way ACE approaches a specialist requirement: understand the requirement, identify the practical risks and create a bespoke, tailor made solution that supports the people doing the work in the field and the office.

TESTED BEHIND THE INTERFACE
A practical tool needs dependable foundations.
SARA is checked beyond its appearance. Automated tests cover survey rules, record validation, safe saving, access protection, file limits and release checks. Production endpoints are also checked to confirm that anonymous access remains blocked.

Scoring, required information and completion states are tested against the application rules.
Record integrity
Conflicting edits and failed saves are checked so incomplete changes do not silently replace valid work.
Protected access
The working application and its evidence remain private to approved SARA users.
Release checks
Each release is type-checked, built and verified before the live application is updated.

Client records, site evidence and working reports are not exposed through this website. Approved surveyors use secure sign-in, and the application maintains its own access controls in addition to the sign-in layer.
